OPERATIONS

With over 400 producing wells and a small, but experienced work force it is advantageous for our shop to be centrally located in Ritchie County in order to ensure lower maintenance costs. Our wells, mostly in the Injun and/or the Upper Devonian formations, have excellent reserves and stable production with low decline rates. Some of our wells have been producing nearly 100 years.

Having a solid, producing footprint in Ritchie County and surrounding counties has enhanced our ability to find and accumulate additional assets. We have grown from a few wells and leases to our current holdings of over 15,000 acres, all held by production. This particular part of the Appalachian Basin offers the opportunity for prolific, stacked vertical formations from the Salt Sands, to the Marcellus Shale, to the Utica Shale, and beyond. Our conservative approach to growth and operating has resulted in a low profile, but it has also provided financial stability and flexibility with a capability to reliably grow and add value, regardless of economic cycles in the oil and gas industry.
